The Sun is reporting that Diddy will star in a TV version of A Raisin in the Sun. It's a good look for him. Keep the coins rolling in to pay the child support. I'm ROFL at "Hard ad Nails" Too funny. HARD as nails rapper P Diddy will star in a TV adaptation of a famous Broadway show.
The music star, real name Sean Combs, is set to play Walter Lee Younger in a three-hour movie version of A Raisin in the Sun. The play follows a black working class family in the 50s as they struggle their way out of poverty living in a racist society. Diddy has already played the role to great critical acclaim in a Broadway stage production. The TV movie is due to air in the US next February, in a prized viewing slot the evening after the 2008 Oscars ceremony. A Raisin in the Sun, written by Lorraine Hansberry, was the first play written by an African-American ever to be shown on Broadway.
