Stephon Marbury is coming out in defense for Micheal Vick and those dog fighting charges Stephon said, "I think, you know, we don't say anything about people who shoot deer or shoot other animals. You know, from what I hear, dogfighting is a sport. It's just behind closed doors. Stephon isn't the only person coming to Michael's defense. The NAACP held a press conference urging the NFL to let Michael play. "As a society, we should aid in his rehabilitation and welcome a new Michael Vick back into the community without a permanent loss of his career in football," said R.L. White, president of the group's Atlanta chapter. "We further ask the NFL, Falcons, and the sponsors not to permanently ban Mr. Vick from his ability to bring hours of enjoyment to fans all over this country."

come on now, why we always seem to try and rally around the wrong black person, why i do agree he should be able to play again, lets not downplay the seriousness of what he did
the good thing is most people with half a brain don't give a damn what Stephon or the NAACP think. About any damn thing.
Isn't it interesting that this has received more press than the Jena6, missing black children and Vick is facing more time than convicted MURDERERS and RAPISTS. Abusing animals is wrong but punisihing VICK more because he is Black and an Athlete is just as wrong. Dogfights,Cock Fights are big money in lots of states but you have never ever heard on the news such a fuss!
