Here's a vintage clip of the two in the studio cooking up beats.
A lawsuit was filed against Hov and producer Timbaland over "Big Pimpin" Chronic Magazine is reporting that - Copyright co-owner Osama Admed Fahmy filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Federal Court, claiming that Timbaland illegally replayed portions of "Big Pimpin" note-for-note, using a melody lifted from the song "Khosara, Khosara" which was written by composer Baligh Hamdi and performed by Egyptian star Abdel-Halim Hafez in 1957.
In 1957! Are you serious? Well a copyright is a copyright and I'm sure there's no statute of limitations on that. You know all of Timbaland's beats have a middle eastern beat flavor to them. Jay will pay then man his money and move on. Where are all the original beat makers? Just asking.
