I wanted to share with viewers as a reminder of how closely we all have to watch our children, our neighbors children, our friends children, siblings children and so on. Johnny Ray Satchell was convicted and received the maximum penalty for raping a child. A Lubbock County jury Thursday convicted Satchell, 29, on seven counts of aggravated sexual assault for the rape of his former girlfriend’s daughter. The jury later sentenced him to seven life sentences and seven $10,000 fines. Satchell will serve the first six sentences concurrently and the seventh consecutive to the first six. This adds up to two consecutive life sentences.
The 8-year-old fidgeted with the microphone on the witness stand as she faced the man she says raped her. She spent nearly two hours testifying this week against Johnny Ray Satchell in an aggravated sexual assault trial. Through two days of testimony, Satchell, 29, remained emotionless - staring straight ahead and stone-faced as allegations were made against him.
The child testified that Satchell raped her "a whole bunch," in numerous rooms in her house, as well as at her aunt's house. She also testified that he groped and kissed her, as well as forced her to perform other sexual acts.
An expert witness from the Child Advocacy Research Examination Center testified that the girl tested positive for gonorrhea and that she had scarring near her anus.
Following an investigation, Satchell was indicted in August 2006 on 12 counts of aggravated sexual assault.

First of all i fault the mother. There was signs. Epecially if the baby exhibited sexual behavior.
I am a mother first! And never allowed men to meet my child. That was a no no!
See the problem with the women nowadays let (penis cloud their judgement) I was not one of those women. I have always taught my daughter to tell me if her uncles, her daddy, cousin etc. touched her in any way. I taught my daughter good touches and bad touches. Meaning if anyone touched her vagina she needed to let me know period!!
I would of moved heaven and earth to get to that sick bastard. They would of found him in ditch with his penis cut off period!
thats sad.. she will never have he innocence abd will always have to live with that. it hurts my heart to know that a baby can be put thru so much. i dont know where the mother was in this situation but odds are that she knew especially since the girl had an std!!! im crying too.
